Hello everyone — and I truly apologize for not posting sooner. I am way behind!
Well I am on tour and things are going well. Putting the finishing touches on the liner notes for my all-Grieg album which will be released later this year.
My concert in El Dorado, Ar last Saturday was an absolute joy and I had a great time in Grapevine TX as well!!
Tomorrow it’s off to Artesia NM.
Last January I finished an excellent book which came out in 2012 ‘Reinventing Bach’ – I would highly recommend it.
Now I am reading ‘The Glenn Gould Reader’
Thanks for visiting and I promise to post more very soon!
Peter

my 3-yr-old daughter and i recently saw you perform at the prescott public library. witnessing your performance, i was reminded of the unique beauty humanity is capable of when one not only applies skill, but express soul. your authentic appreciation of the rich layers required to weave artistic mastery is admirable. your diligence in exploring and cultivating these layers, and your balance of reverance and originality in your weaving of these layers is magnificent. thank you.
one question: the black and white keys? i used to have pearl turnkeys so I noticed the black keys right away. I thought maybe to help you tell the sides apart when tuning during perfomance. (Of course this would be in addition to it just looking really cool…The formal ambiance of a piano to top the suave yet portable echo of a classical guitar). But my curiosity increased when I noticed the keys are reversed on your homepage photo.
Hello Sarah — your kind words mean so very much to me. I do not understand your question about the black and white keys — sorry.
Can you tell me which of the CD’s has the most relaxing content? Throughly enjoyed the concert at Peabody library, did my soul good.
Hello Rebecca – Sorry for the late response – the best way to contact me is peterfletcher80@gmail.com — I think the Mompou CD is the most relaxing — thanks!!!
